Lunenburg
is the perfect place to put down some temporary roots and stay for
a week. Centrally located in mainland Nova Scotia, it makes a great
base for day trips to widespread attractions. But, you may not want
to venture very far. In all liklihood, you will be enthralled by the
delightful charms of Old Town Lunenburg, just a few steps away from
Ruby's Guest House. Explore the old town on foot or by horse
drawn buggy. Visit a few of the nineteen art galleries in town,
the Fisheries
Museum of the Atlantic, the Fishermen's Memorial and the Knaut
Rhuland House Museum. There are several fine dining establishments
in town, as well as pub fare at The Knot, all within walking distance. Try out your sea legs with a sail on the Bluenose II, the Eastern Star or Hummer Ocean Tour.
